It was a lovely day. The sun was out shining on your (h/c) hair. You were out practicing shooting. You loved shooting arrows, and you must say you were quite good. You enjoyed the feeling of letting go of the arrow, watching it hit the target, you smiled widely. You were beginning to set up another one before you heard a voice behind you.
“I see your practicing” you turned your head around, looking directly into the prince’s eyes.
“Oh I…uh yeah just practicing” you smiled weakly. You loved his voice. It was warm and silky, you love to hear more.
He smiled back “Mind if I join you…my father is annoying me right now” he chuckled “I just want to let some steam out, act like an normal elf”
You were lost of words “I-I guess, sure why not” you smiled boldly “I know your father is under a lot of stress…I would be to if I was a king of a kingdom” you were trying to lift the mood a bit.
He rolled his eyes “Yes my father is under a lot of stress and he takes it on me sometimes” he paused looking at your worried face “oh not physically, he never laid a fist on me” he half smiled.
You smiled once more “Good” you turned around and shot the arrow, hitting it strait in the middle.
“Wow your good” the two of you looked each other in the eye and smiled. You never had been this close to the king before. You wanted to get to know him better.
“Hey I was going to take a break…do want to join me down at the river?” you asked raising an eyebrow.
“I don’t know…I should probably get back to my father-“
“What are you a princess?” you challenged the prince. You couldn’t believe you said that, but it was out. You smirked at his reaction. Then you took off down to the river “Come on!”
Thranduil gave a weak laugh “What’s your name?” he chased after you, almost tripping over twigs that lay around.
You giggled “My name is (y/n).” you smiled back at him. You finally reached the end of the trail and turned around.
“How dare you make front of me-“Thranduil tripped over a stone he did not see. You watched him come towards you; you really weren’t paying any attention. You were looking at his beauty. His long blond hair flowing all around him, his wide icy blue eyes shocked, and it was a wonderful look for him. It was so-
Your mind was interrupted by a body colliding into you. You stumbled a little and felt your balance fail “T-Thranduil!” you gasped as you felt cold water stinging your back. It actually felt like it was stabbing you. You yelped “C-cold!” You opened your eyes to meet blue ones. You couldn’t believe it. Thranduil was on top of you.
“Oh I am so sorry (y/n)!” but he was confused, you were laughing “What’s so funny?” he asked.
You smiled “It’s funny! Don’t you know how to have f-fun?” you were shivering “Can you get off of me?” you asked, looking into his eyes.
He raised an eye brow “What can’t take the cold?” he laughed, but was cut off by you spraying cold water on his face.
“You wouldn’t know how cold it was!” you laughed. Thranduil got off of you.
“Thank you very much!” you smiled “Here, let me introduce myself properly.” You stood up, even though you were dripping wet, you had your hand extended out “My name is (y/n) I help make arrows for your people” you waited until he shook your hand.
He did take and he smiled “I think you know who I am, my name is Thranduil” he kissed your hand “at your service.”
You smiled with a light pink on your cheeks “Wow what a gentlemen” your laughed. Thranduil’s eyes twinkled and he smiled warmly up at you.
It has been a year since you two met. The two of you were great friends. You guys would chase each other around in the woods, like children. You enjoyed the time you two had with each other, until his father came and took him away.
Right now you were enjoying your time by yourself. You were in a river that had a waterfall running down it. You laid it against a rock thinking deeply. You thought about Thrandui’ls pretty face, oh how you wanted to touch it; you wanted to kiss his lips- stop! You can’t think that way! He was a prince, and you a normal elf. You sighed heavily, hitting the water with your fist. Why must the good ones be so out of reach! You grunted.
You thought it was a good time to get out, so you stood, stretching your body out, your hair down to full length. Little did you know Thranduil was watching you from behind a tree. His eyes wondered your body, looking at your hair finally out of a pony tail. He liked it like that.
“Are you going to show yourself?” you questioned “Thranduil?”
Thranduil’s faced heated up “It wasn’t what you thought…I was waiting until you go out to talk to you.” He replied.
You quickly got dressed “I see” once you were dressed, you turned and faced him “Can I help you?”
“Well you see I’m going off to a war with my father…and I wanted to say good bye” he felt like crying, but he kept his form. He pulled you into a hug, resting his chin upon your head “Goodbye (y/n)” he whispered.
You felt a tear running down your chin, once you realized what was happening, he was gone “Thranduil…” you could still feel the warmth of him there; you could also feel the tears forming once more “Oh Thranduil” you fell to your knees, putting your hands to your face, filling them with tears. How could this happen? What if he doesn’t return? You felt scared. You wanted to go after him, but you sat there.
You didn’t know how many days pasted. You waited for Thranduil return, but he never did. You lay on a rock, near the river you both fell into. You threw rocks nearby you into the river, watching the ripples they made. You sighed and that’s when you heard it. A horn. You sprung up. You knew what that meant. They came back; you rushed back to the kingdom.
A crowd formed watching their return. You pushed your way to the front, looking for Thranduil. Your (e/c) eyes scanned every elf that walked by. You were getting worried, you didn’t see him. When what seemed like all hopes was lost, you spotted him.
“Thranduil! Thranduil!” you called after him, running across the field to get to him.
His head turned watching you run towards him with full speed “(y/n)?” your bodies collided into each other. He dropped his sword so he could hold you in his arms.
“Thank god you made it! I was so worried about you and-“you stopped, looking into his eyes “What’s wrong?”
Thranduil never did this in front of you before. Tears began to fall “My father…he didn’t make it” he placed his head into your neck.
You brushed his head with your hand “It’s alright…look at me” you grabbed his face “It’s alright, he was a strong man, he must be proud of you…” you paused “You are now the king” You placed a kiss upon his lips.
He was stunned by your actions, from your kiss. “I love you” he kissed your forehead “be my queen.” He wasn’t asking, he was ordering.
You chuckled “I thought you were sad?”
“I am” he held you in a hug “just asking the lady I love to be my wife” he smiled “please it would make me feel better?” he gave you a puppy face.
You laughed at this “You’re such a little princess!” you kissed his lips before entering the kingdom. A smile was placed on your lips as you walked hand in hand with your husband.
Everyone was told that Thranduil had found a wife. The people of the kingdom were shocked to hear it was you. I mean you were only a worker, not some rich elf. The people didn’t mind, they wanted their new king to be happy. Thranduil was happy and so were you.
“I have a great idea” your husband wrapped his hands around your waist.
You giggled “Yes and what is that?”
He nibbled on your ear and whispered “We should have a baby…don’t you think?”
You stopped your giggling. What did he just suggest…to have a baby? You blushed hard at this “A baby?” you let that set in the air.
“Only if you want to” he rubbed your stomach as if the baby was already there.
After a moment of silence you decided “I would love to have a child with you” you turned to face Thranduil, giving him a soft kiss on the lips.
Thranduil smirked “Good” he picked you up and put you on the bed. The bed was huge; it had antlers forming the head board, a high ceiling for the sun to shine down on the two of you. There was an enormous window showing the outside world. The sun was an orange color, showing that the afternoon was fading into night. A nice breeze swooped in from the window, making the currents fly high to the ceiling. It was a beautiful site to see.
But you saw a better site. The site of your husband on top of you, parting your legs to be in between you. Tongue clashing together, moaning loudly. You claw at his back as you groan in his ear for him to continue. Your fingers played with his soft hair, running them through, not caring how many times he told you to stop. You could hear his anger in his voice, and you enjoyed it. Finally he pinned your hands above you head, and you smiled enjoying his touch.
You smiled, jumping up with joy, even dancing in the room you shared with Thranduil. At that moment your husband came in, watching you with an eye brow raised “What are you doing (y/n)?” he questioned you.
Your giggles filled the room, turning your head towards him you said “I’m pregnant!” you squealed in happiness.
Thranduil was speechless “R-really? Oh that’s great” he picked you up in a hug “I love you” he chuckled.
“I know” you smirked looking down at him “What shall we name this baby?” you asked as he set you down gently.
“Well first, what is the gender of this baby?” he looked out the window towards the woods.
“It’s a baby boy” you smiled “I always wanted to have a baby boy!” you were so happy you squealed again.
He laughed at your actions “Well we need a fitting name. Something strong, but yet sweet to the ears” he walked around the room in deep thought.
“Oh I know” you paused looking into his blue eyes “Legolas! I think that would be a perfect name”
He smiled “Yes that’s perfect…Legolas”
“Oh Legolas!” you yelled after you son. He was a wonderful boy and you enjoyed his gifs he would bring back home from his journeys. Legolas was now grown, he wasn’t your little boy anymore. You wished he was that small little boy you could carry around forever, but all things come to an end.
“Yes mother?” your son turned to face you. He had bright blue eyes, just like his father. Long blond hair passing his shoulders, just like his father “I will only be gone for a week or so” he complained.
“I don’t care if it’s a week or so, still say good bye to me!” you hugged him tightly “Be careful out there! Watch out for those spiders” you called after him.
He smiled a waved, nodding his head “He will be alright” Thranduil was now beside you, waving his son off as well.
“I know he will, he’s strong like you” you turned and smiled up at him.
*Thranduil’s mind speaking*
Thranduil smiled at the memory of you two. He remembered what you smelled like the day he met you. A strong smell of wood, mixed in with roses. He remembered when the two of you fell into the river, the first time you two had ever touched. He smiled. Oh how he missed you deeply, he wishes to touch your soft skin, feel your lips against yours.
“Ada? You ready to go?” Legolas’s voiced pulled him out of his thoughts.
“Yes I am. You?” he asked.
Legolas nodded his head “You alright? You seem kind of down”
“I’m fine, let’s go” Thranduil and Legolas walked out into the open air. A nice breeze swiped over the two of them.
They came to a grave stone. It held your name and the time you were born and the time you died. Legolas smiled and put (your favorite flower) next to your stone. He bent down and bowed his head “I love you mother…” his words blew into the air.
Thranduil got on the ground as well. He remembered the time you smiled up at him when Legolas left. He missed your warm smiles, your hugs, your laughs, just you. He missed everything about you. He bent down and kissed the head stone “I miss you deeply…(y/n)”
